Finding a Niche business topic is easy

Filed under: Niche Marketing — Tags: — admin @ 3:56 pm

Niche Marketing is not as simple as the Guru’s say it is.
“write about what you know” is an over simplification at best.
Niche Marketing and finding Niche businesses is so simple you would not believe it.
Does the above sound contradictive? Well it really isn’t, so hang in there.
Rule number 1 for Niche Marketing Success:

If you want to be different, you need to think different.
In most areas of the country there are Adult Education classes. I live in a small community and we offer such classes here. I was looking at the spring catalog and there are classes offered for topics like…

  • Arts and Crafts
  • Career Development
  • Computers
  • Finance and Investing
  • Fitness
  • Well Being
  • Recreation
  • Food
  • Foreign Language
  • Home and Garden

What is the point and how does it affect you?

Well simply put. If you can not find a niche topic to write about or to create a website about - Take a Class.
Think about how much you will learn about a new topic - the amount of
notes and resources you will develop on the topic - How easy it would
be to write an article each day on what you are studying.
On my class schedule I see a class that is titled “Profitable Exporting
for Small Business” I did a word search for “exporting for small
business” in quotes and only got back 830 for competition. Looks
like a possible market that does not have a huge amount of competition.
What about… Skin and Body Care Nutrition or Psychology Prosperity
Like I said earlier, If you want to be different, you have to think
different. Learn to use resources that are close at hand.
Not only will you expand you knowledge, you will create a Niche Market
Business at the same time.

I have created a few Squidoo Lenses.  Today I was honored and amazed to learn that one of my Lenses, “How to build a food smoker” has been nominated for a Giant Squid Award.  I would like to thank all the people that have taken the time to view and to post on this lens for making it a successful and relevant lens.

If you are registered with squidoo and you would like to vote for this or any other lens, log in and then go to “2008 Giant Squid Awards.  Scroll down to the DIY category and click the little pyramid to cast your vote.

Running for President 2012

Filed under: General — admin @ 3:37 pm

I am thinking about running for President of the United States in 2012. I have much in my past that would come up, I can handle it. There are a lot folks that may not like me, they can vote for the other guy. I don’t know about world affairs, I do know I don’t like other countries threatening me. For the more technical items, I would select a good cabinet.

I believe the hardest part of running for President is a good theme song. Well I have mine and here it is…

I should have this blog layout done by 2012 … So why not run for President of the United States or at the very least Mayor.
