The Article Marketing Hobo

Article marketing is not Bum marketing

Article marketing is not Bum marketing. Cruising the Internet Today doing some research, I have seen basically the same statement a few dozens times.

I start to read an article on article marketing and right off the author says “also known as Bum Marketing“.

Want to know something? That author may have written a good article and I might have learned something by reading it, but I just went on down the list or to another site. Why?

The person writing about article marketing does not know his topic or he is trying to use keywords out of context just for the search engines in my opinion. It does not matter to me which one is correct because either way, I am gone.

Yes! Bum Marketing is Article Marketing. This method uses Articles to market an affiliate product, that is true.

Bum Marketing uses Keyword phrases build around an affiliate product and is short term in its promotion. Usually from 5 to 10 articles. Then it is time to move on to the next niche topic.

The long term affect for the Bum marketer comes from the fact the article will be on the internet for years and continue to bring in the trickle of affiliate purchases.

When you have 30 or even 50 niche topics with 10 articles per topic, your income could amaze you.

This is a great way to establish yourself on the internet while making a good income.

You will not establish yourself as an expert in a given field, except article marketing.

An added benefit is the fact you do not have to create websites or promote your sites so there is no financial outlay of money while you earn and learn.

Article marketing has a totally different purpose and use. Article marketing is writing about the topics on your website, blog or even a Squidoo page and then linking traffic to that site.

Usually article marketing is being used to create one way links to a website to increase the search engine ranking. You might decide to use article marketing to increase your expert status.

Article Marketing is used for long term marketing goals, like building your website authority.

Bum Marketing on the other hand is a short term investment, meant to find small markets and take a small piece of the pie from one source and then another.
