Why would anyone want to use PLR for any reason? I am the first to admit that PLR is enticing but in most cases, it just plain sucks.
There are some great resources for plr and it is written well, researched well and even limited to the amount of distribution. When you find a source of this type PLR, it can have some great advantages.
You do not need to do the research. Well researched PLR has already done the research and put the ideas into a form ready for publication.
You do not need to create as much content for creating a website, and with enough changes you could distribute it for publication.
You save on time typing. This is not a major item for people with great typing skills, but for some people this could save a lot of valuable time that could be put to better use.
Time saving can be enormous if you are creating Niche Content Sites, you do not have to spend days or weeks typing and researching. You can hire this done but then you have to wait for that person to finally deliver the content. If you have ever gone this route you know that projected delivery dates are usually not met.
The big advantage of Good PLR, is the fact you can use it any way you choose. You can re-write it or reorganize it to fit your needs and you do not need anyones permission to do so.
Can you save money using PLR?
To write an e-book or create dozens of pages of content, you will need to spend days or weeks doing the research and typing or...
You can hire someone to do it for you. Hiring a Ghost writer is not inexpensive and if the person is good, it may run you as much as $20.00 per article. A well written E-book can cost $1500 dollars or more.
Using PLR and doing some re-write you can produce your own E-Book for around $500.00. This can be a huge saving, not only in money but in time.
In the next installment we will take some time to look at the biggest mistakes most people make when using PLR.
